This policy explains how NHG Vehicle Care Ltd (“we”, “us”) uses personal information collected through this website, nhgvehiclecare.com. We are the data controller for that information. Our garage is at Unit 2, 2 Dolly Lane, Harehills, Leeds LS9 7TU, and you can reach us about anything in this policy at nhgvehiclecare@gmail.com.

Booking requests

When you send a booking request through the form on this website we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address (optional), vehicle registration, make and model, the service you want, your preferred date and time, the MOT class if you choose an MOT, and any message. We also record the date and time of the request, the page of this website you came from, the type of browser you used and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address. The hashed address cannot be turned back into your address; it is used only to stop the form being abused by automated submissions.

We use these details only to deal with your request: to contact you, agree a date and time, and carry out the work on your vehicle. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you. We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or use it to send you marketing.

How your request reaches us

Each request is saved on the server that runs this website and then sent by email to our garage inbox, nhgvehiclecare@gmail.com, through an email delivery service acting on our behalf. If you gave an email address we send you a short acknowledgement to that address. A request sent through the form is not a confirmed booking until we have spoken to you.

How long we keep it

Booking requests are kept for 12 months from the date they are sent and then deleted from the website. Any record of the work actually carried out on your vehicle is kept separately as part of our normal garage and accounting records, for as long as the law requires.

Calling us

Tapping or clicking our telephone number opens your phone’s dialler. The call itself is handled by your phone and your phone network, not by this website: the website does not record that you called, who called or what was said.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently load any analytics or advertising service and sets no analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first through a banner on the site and update this policy.

The map and links to other sites

The map on our pages loads from OpenStreetMap only when you press “Show interactive map”. At that point your browser requests the map from openstreetmap.org, which then receives your internet address in the normal way for any web request. Links to Google Maps, Google reviews or Facebook take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. To ask for your booking details to be deleted, email nhgvehiclecare@gmail.com from the address you gave us, or call us on 0113 244 3544, or write to us at Unit 2, 2 Dolly Lane, Leeds LS9 7TU. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way the website handles your information changes. Last updated 22 October 2026.
